Canada Business visitors are those

plan to stay for less than 6 months

do not have a plan to enter the Canadian labour market
-
having business income and profits outside Canada
-
have a valid travel document, such as a passport
-
have enough money for entire stay and to return back home country
-
plan to leave Canada at the end of visit
-
are not a criminal, security or health risk to Canadians
Business visitor may perform following activities while in Canada:

buy Canadian goods or services for a foreign business or government

take orders for goods or services
-
attend meetings, conferences, conventions or trade fairs

give after-sales service as part of a warranty or sales agreement

training by a Canadian parent company

train employees of a Canadian branch of a foreign company

Under the Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement, a U.S. or Mexican national may also take part in other activities, such as research, marketing and general services.
